Fee proposals for architectural practitioners (beta) | Zonely

Fee proposals

A correctly priced, complete fee proposal for a property, in minutes, in your name and your style.

Type in the property and a short description of the job. A few minutes later you have a fee proposal that is priced, complete and ready for you to check and send, written so your client can read it and sign it.

Why it is more than a Word template

  1. Zonely already knows the property.

In Cape Town the zoning, erf size and heritage status come straight from the City's records, so there is nothing to look up or retype.

  2. The scope and price follow SACAP.

The scope is set out in SACAP's work stages (Board Notice 885 of 2026). You price by the hour, as a percentage of construction cost, or as a fixed fee, and every sum is worked out for you.

  3. The required terms are built in.

SACAP's requirements, the Consumer Protection Act and the privacy law (POPIA) are covered, and a proposal cannot be downloaded while a required term is missing.

  4. You stay in charge.

You check every proposal and sign it off before it goes out, and your client's details stay private.

The aim

Faster proposals, fewer mistakes, and less unpaid work when a job's scope changes.
