1. What we collect

When you use Zonely we may collect: the property addresses you look up, your email address if you enter it, basic request metadata (such as IP address) and any details you share in forms or Zonely Chat.

For some usage tracking and rate limiting, we store a representation of your IP address in our database (for example hashed or with reduced precision) rather than the full raw value.

2. Payments

Payments are processed by PayFast. We do not see or store your full card number. PayFast shares payment status and basic contact details with us so we can deliver your snapshot or full report.

3. How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate and deliver Snapshots and Full Reports.
• Improve our zoning models and experiences.
• Monitor system health, prevent abuse and enforce usage limits.
• Communicate with you about your orders or important changes.

4. Storage and sharing

Zonely runs on infrastructure such as Vercel, Postgres and Redis. These providers host our application and data securely. We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers (for example analytics or error monitoring) to operate and improve the service.

5. Your choices

You can request that we delete reports or account information we hold about you, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records (for example for tax and accounting). To make a request, email hello@zonely.co.za.

6. Updates

We may update this policy as Zonely evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page. If changes affect how we handle your data in a significant way, we'll highlight them more prominently.
