Terms of Use
These terms describe how you may use Zonely and what you can expect from our reports and tools.
1. Service description
Zonely provides zoning information, reports and chat-based guidance for properties within the City of Cape Town. We interpret planning rules and data into plain-English explanations to help you make better decisions, but we do not replace formal professional or legal advice.
2. No legal or professional advice
Information from Zonely (including Chat, Snapshots and Property Reports) is for educational and planning support only. It is not legal advice, town planning advice or engineering advice. Always confirm final development decisions with the City of Cape Town and appropriately qualified professionals.
3. Coverage and limitations
Our tools are tuned for properties within the City of Cape Town. Title deed conditions, estate rules, infrastructure constraints and neighbour objections can affect what is ultimately approvable. Reports highlight likely constraints, but cannot guarantee outcomes at Council.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by PayFast. Zonely does not store card details. If a report or snapshot does not deliver the clarity we promise, we will rework it or provide a refund at our discretion. For help with a purchase, contact hello@zonely.co.za.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Zonely, including scraping or reselling our content, trying to interfere with our systems, or using our outputs to misrepresent zoning approvals. We may limit or suspend access if we detect abusive or unsafe use.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update this page. Continued use of Zonely after changes means you accept the updated terms.
If you have questions about these terms, email us at hello@zonely.co.za.
See our Privacy Policy for information on how we handle personal data.
